Objective: 

To work in the telecommunications field where I can utilize my experience, training, and telecom skills.

 

Summary:

          Mountain LTD:

          Prepared field notes and drawings of various locations in the Atlanta    

          Area for fiber projects and submitted permits to GDOT and local

          Government agencies.                                      

           RTS Engineering:

           Did Outside Plant field engineering in Atlanta area for ATT and

        completed Field Engineering projects in Tennessee following floods       

           in the Nashville area.     

·         Did pre-survey work for U-verse in the Atlanta area for ATT.

·         Performed as Plant Contract Inspector for Cable Damage Prevention initiative for four years.  Checked telephone locating

·         contractors for accuracy.  Worked with utility companies and

·         construction companies to keep telephone plant from damage.

·         Investigated any and all damages and filed findings to Bellsouth

·         Claims dept. Assisted locating companies to locate Kevlar (non-locatable) fiber. Also worked with boring companies to prevent damage to telephone plant.

·         Ramsey Enterprises:

·         Damage Prevention Specialist:  Worked as PCI with contractors, utility companies and underground locating companies to keep telephone plant from damage.

·         Bellsouth:       

·         Was a Special Services technician, installing and troubleshooting all types of circuits and equipment for BellSouth at government and

·         customer locations and cell sites.

·         Was an Outside Plant Engineer maintaining a large area that comprised both residential and commercial properties where I was responsible for designing facilities and working closely with construction personnel to insure jobs were completed on time. 

·         Held the titles and performed the work of Cable Splicer in Construction and Cable Repair Technician.

Other skills:

Use Outlook Express, MS Word, Excel, etc., familiar with many AT&T systems.
